XBee Module - ZB Series S2C - 2mW with Wire Antenna [XB24CZ7WIT-004]

The XBee ZB Series S2C is a 2 mW ZigBee wireless module with a wire antenna, supporting point-to-point, multipoint, and mesh network topologies. Built on the ZigBee protocol stack, it's well suited for low-power wireless sensor networks and mesh configurations where multiple modules communicate across a spread-out area.

The wire antenna provides approximately 50% more range than equivalent chip antenna modules. Note that Series 2 modules require a designated "coordinator" module to be configured before use — they are not as plug-and-play as Series 1 modules.
