ELECFREAKS micro:bit Smart Greenhouse Kit

The ELECFREAKS Smart Greenhouse Kit is an innovative plant growth simulation kit designed for primary and secondary school students. Its purpose is to provide a hands-on learning experience, helping young learners understand the principles of smart agriculture and IoT applications in modern plant cultivation.

At the heart of the kit is the micromainboard, paired with the 

IoTexpansion board.

Seeds are planted in the growth groove at the base of the greenhouse, and a transparent cover allows students to observe their plants as they develop. Integrated sensors, including light and soil moisture sensors, monitor the growth environment, while 8 rainbow light rings adjust the lighting based on environmental changes. A 3V water pump and relays are used to automatically water the plants, providing a dynamic way for students to manage the growing conditions.

The kit features a graphical programming platform that allows students to program the system easily with simple commands. Students can intelligently control the greenhouse environment, collect real-time data, and transmit it to an IoT dashboard for in-depth analysis and sharing of results.

In comparison to other plant kits, the ELECFREAKS Smart Greenhouse Kit prioritizes safety. The expansion board is securely positioned outside the greenhouse, far from the water pump, preventing any risk of short circuits from water exposure.
