Elecrow ThinkNode M1 - LoRa Meshtastic Transceiver with 1.54" EPD Screen, GPS & nRF52840 (915MHz)
ThinkNode M1 — Off-Grid Meshtastic Communication Device
The Elecrow ThinkNode M1 is a compact, fully integrated LoRa transceiver designed for off-grid mesh networking. Pre-loaded with Meshtastic firmware, it enables secure, decentralised communication without any internet or cellular infrastructure — ideal for outdoor adventures, emergency preparedness, remote area operations, and community mesh networks.
Key Features
Reliable LoRa Communication: Built around the Nordic nRF52840 processor and Semtech SX1262 LoRa transceiver, the M1 delivers stable long-range transmission at 915MHz (AU/US frequency) with up to +22dBm transmit power. An external RP-SMA antenna connection ensures optimal signal performance.
1.54" E-Paper Display: The always-on EPD screen provides clear, sunlight-readable status information including node details, messages, and GPS coordinates — all with minimal power draw. The 200×200 resolution monochrome display refreshes in approximately 2 seconds.
High-Precision GPS Navigation: The built-in multi-constellation GPS module supports GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and QZSS for accurate positioning in any environment. Share your location with other mesh nodes or use it for fleet tracking and navigation.
Extended Battery Life: A built-in 1200mAh rechargeable lithium battery delivers over 48 hours of continuous use. Low-power standby consumption is just 5.6μA, while maximum operating current (CPU + LoRa) is approximately 85mA.
Bluetooth 5 Connectivity: Configure and manage the M1 wirelessly via BLE 5 using the official Meshtastic app on your smartphone. Send messages, share maps and locations, monitor network status, and customise device settings — all from your phone.
RTC Clock: The built-in real-time clock maintains accurate time even when powered off, enabling faster hot-start of the GPS and supporting interrupt/wake-up functionality.
Multiple Firmware Support: Ships with Meshtastic firmware pre-installed. Also compatible with MeshCore firmware for alternative mesh networking optimised for long-distance and low-power scenarios.
