The YBox2 is a DIY networked set-top box kit. Connect it to your TV and design customised content delivered directly from the internet. Built around the Parallax Propeller chip with 8 cores and 32KB of RAM, it's an open-source platform for experimenting with video output, networking, and embedded programming.

The kit comes as an unassembled PCB with all necessary electronic parts. Assembly takes a couple of hours and is not difficult. An internet-enabled bootloader comes pre-installed, so you can upload programs directly from your computer without a special cable or Prop-Plug.
