Star Simpson's Circuit Classics Stepped Tone Generator

The Stepped Tone Generator is part of Star Simpson's Circuit Classics series — beautifully designed soldering kits based on Forrest M. Mims III's iconic hand-drawn circuit designs. This particular circuit is the well-known Atari Punk Console, originally from the 555 Timer IC Circuits Engineer's Mini-Notebook, capable of producing retro synthesiser sounds reminiscent of classic 1980s Atari console games.

The PCB features the circuit, schematic, and description in Forrest's distinctive hand-drawn style, traced directly from his books.
