The LM358 is a versatile dual-channel operational amplifier in a breadboard-friendly 8-pin DIP package. It can operate from a single supply (3–32V) or dual supplies (±1.5V to ±16V), making it suitable for a wide range of analogue circuits including transducer amplifiers, DC gain blocks, and standard op-amp configurations.
