Littlebits Temperature
We have ✅ 2 available of the LI-650-0022 in our Sydney warehouse.
The littleBits Temperature Sensor responds to the ambient temperature surrounding its probe, sending a stronger signal as the temperature increases. It's a simple way to add temperature sensing to your littleBits circuits.
The sensor uses an I²C temperature IC on the top of the board, communicating with an onboard MCU that applies hysteresis for stable readings. The output is converted to an analogue value readable by other littleBits modules, with every 50 mV representing one degree.
Key Features
- Analogue Output – 50 mV per degree for easy integration with number and display modules
- Celsius and Fahrenheit – Supports both temperature scales
- Thermal Isolation – Slotted PCB design around the sensor provides thermal relief from board conductivity
- littleBits Compatible – Connects via standard bitSnap connectors
Ideal For
- Weather station and environmental monitoring projects
- Temperature-triggered littleBits circuits
- STEM and classroom learning activities
