All-in-one Robotics Board for BBC micro:bit
Take your micro:bit robotics builds to the next level with the Kitronik All-in-one Robotics Board. This all-in-one control solution lets the BBC micro:bit drive up to 4 motors (or 2 stepper motors) and 8 servos, making it the perfect foundation for a wide variety of robotics projects.
The board features 2 Dual H-Bridge Motor Driver ICs and 8 servo outputs (standard and continuous rotation), all controlled via I2C through a 16-channel driver IC. With 17 additional I/O expansion points and broken-out I2C lines, you can easily add sensors, ZIP LEDs, and other I2C-compatible devices.
Key Features
- 4 Motor Outputs – Drive 4 standard motors or 2 stepper motors via dual H-Bridge Motor Driver ICs
- 8 Servo Outputs – Supports both standard and continuous rotation servos
- 17 I/O Expansion Points – All usable micro:bit pins broken out to a 2.54mm pitch link header for easy soldering
- I2C Breakout – Pins 19 & 20 broken out for connecting additional I2C-compatible devices
- Flexible Power Input – Power via terminal block or servo-style connector; regulated 3.3V supply powers the micro:bit directly
- No Separate Power Needed – The board supplies regulated 3.3V to the connected micro:bit and external devices via the link header
