Adafruit Perma-Proto HAT for Pi Mini Kit - With EEPROM
The Adafruit Perma-Proto HAT for Pi Mini Kit with EEPROM is a full-sized prototyping daughter board for any Raspberry Pi with a 2×20 GPIO header. It provides a grid of 0.1″ soldering holes connected in a familiar breadboard pattern, plus a pre-soldered 24C32 I2C EEPROM for self-identifying HAT configuration using the Raspberry Pi Foundation's HAT specification.
Nearly every GPIO pin is broken out near the top of the board, along with dedicated power strips for +3V, +5V, and ground. The EEPROM is connected to the EEDAT/EECLK lines and can be programmed to make the HAT self-identifying on boot.
Key Features
- Breadboard-Style Layout – 0.1″ grid with connected pads matching solderless breadboard patterns
- GPIO Breakout – Nearly all Pi GPIO pins broken out along the top edge
- Power Rails – Dedicated +3V, +5V, and GND strips
- 24C32 I2C EEPROM – Pre-soldered for Pi HAT self-identification
- Full HAT Form Factor – Sized for Pi Zero/A+/B+/2/3/4/5
Ideal For
- Building custom self-identifying Pi HATs with EEPROM configuration
- Transferring breadboard prototypes to a permanent soldered HAT
- Custom sensor, relay, or interface circuits connected to a Pi
Also Consider
- Perma-Proto HAT – No EEPROM – Stack-friendly version without EEPROM
- Perma-Proto Bonnet Mini Kit – Smaller Pi Zero-sized version
Package Contents
- 1× Perma-Proto HAT PCB (with pre-soldered 24C32 EEPROM)
- 1× 2×20 Female GPIO Header
