Arduino Leonardo ATmega32u4 without headers
The Arduino Leonardo is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega32U4, featuring built-in USB communication that allows it to appear as a keyboard, mouse, or serial device to a connected computer — no secondary USB chip required. This version ships without headers for an ultra-thin, lightweight form factor ideal for embedded projects and custom installations.
With 20 digital I/O pins (7 PWM, 12 analog inputs), a 16MHz crystal oscillator, micro USB connection, power jack footprint, and ICSP header breakout, the Leonardo contains everything needed to get started. Also available with pre-soldered headers for immediate breadboard and shield use.
Key Features
- Native USB – Built-in USB on the ATmega32U4 enables keyboard, mouse, and serial device emulation
- No Headers – Ultra-thin and lightweight; solder your own headers or wire directly
- 20 Digital I/O Pins – 7 usable as PWM outputs, with 40mA per pin
- 12 Analog Inputs – 10-bit resolution on pins A0–A11
- Micro USB – Connect directly to a computer for power and programming
