The Zio Qwiic OLED Display is a 1.5" (38 mm) monochrome OLED module with a 128×128 pixel resolution, capable of displaying up to 16 lines of text as well as graphics and animations. Two Qwiic (JST-SH) connectors on the back allow solderless daisy-chaining over I2C.

The compact form factor and I2C interface make it well suited to embedded systems, wearable projects, and any application that needs a small, readable display without complex wiring.

Key Features

  • 1.5" OLED Display – 128×128 pixel resolution
  • I2C Interface – Directly compatible with Qwiic / STEMMA QT ecosystems
  • Dual Qwiic Connectors – Daisy-chain multiple I2C devices without soldering
  • Text and Graphics – Supports up to 16 lines of text, images, and animations
  • Compact Form Factor – Suitable for space-constrained and wearable projects

Ideal For

  • Sensor readout displays
  • Embedded system status screens
  • Wearable and portable projects
  • Prototyping with Qwiic / STEMMA QT I2C devices

Package Contents

  • 1× Zio Qwiic OLED Display (1.5", 128×128)

Jargon buster

Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.

I2C
I2C is a two-wire communication bus used by many sensors and small modules. It matters because several I2C devices can share the same two wires, but each device needs a compatible address and your controller must support I2C.
OLED
OLED stands for organic light-emitting diode, a display type where each pixel produces its own light. It matters because OLED screens are thin, high-contrast and easy to read for small status displays, but they can be more sensitive to image burn-in than some other display types.
Qwiic
Qwiic is a plug-in connector system for I2C devices that uses small 4-pin cables, so you can connect compatible sensors without soldering. It matters because your controller or adapter also needs Qwiic, or you will need a cable or breakout to wire it up.
STEMMA
A plug-and-cable connection system used on some maker electronics boards to make wiring simpler. If a product uses STEMMA, you need the matching cable or connector type to plug it in without soldering.
STEMMA QT
A small plug-in connector system for I2C boards that lets you connect compatible sensors and controllers without soldering. It matters because it can make wiring faster and less error-prone, especially when adding several small modules to a project.
