A low-sensitivity, non-directional vibration switch that acts as a simple motion detector. Inside, a stiff spring is coiled around a central metal pin — when the switch is shaken or moved with enough force, the spring contacts the pin and closes the circuit. When still, the circuit remains open.

This is the hard-to-trigger (low sensitivity) variant, requiring a stronger vibration to activate. Also available in medium and high sensitivity versions for different trigger thresholds.

Key Features

  • Low Sensitivity – Stiff spring requires significant vibration to trigger, reducing false activations
  • Non-Directional – Detects vibration regardless of orientation
  • Simple Interface – Two pins act as a normally-open switch; no signal conditioning required
  • Compact – Small form factor for easy integration

Ideal For

  • Basic motion and vibration detection
  • Wearable electronics projects
  • Wake-on-shake circuits
  • Low-cost alarm triggers
