Raspberry Pi PoE+ HAT Overview

The Raspberry Pi PoE+ HAT is a powerful expansion board designed for Raspberry Pi 3B+ and 4B models. It adds Power over Ethernet (PoE+) functionality to your Raspberry Pi, enabling both power and network connectivity through a single Ethernet cable. This makes for a cleaner, simpler setup while reducing cable clutter.

Easy Installation:

1. Install the provided standoffs on the four corners of the PoE+ HAT.
2. Align the HAT with the Raspberry Pi's 40-pin and 4-pin PoE interfaces and connect.
3. Use a single Ethernet cable for both power and network connection to a compatible PoE device.
4. To remove, gently pull the HAT away from the Raspberry Pi to avoid damaging the pins.

Important Precautions:

• Only use PoE devices compliant with the 802.3af standard.
• Ensure the external power supply meets applicable regulations and standards.
• Operate in a well-ventilated, dry environment and avoid covering the fan.
• Avoid contact with conductive materials and keep the board free from mechanical or electrical damage.
• Recommended operating temperature range: 0–50°C.
