Edge AI and computer vision, ready to go
Run machine learning models locally on the Raspberry Pi 5 with the AI HAT+ neural network accelerator and Camera Module 3. Perfect for object detection, image classification, and real-time vision applications.
- Raspberry Pi 5 — Choose your RAM (8GB or 16GB)
- Official 27W USB-C Power Supply — Full power for AI workloads
- 32GB MicroSD Card — Pre-loaded with Raspberry Pi OS
- Raspberry Pi AI HAT+ (26 TOPS) — Hailo-8L neural network accelerator
- Raspberry Pi Camera Module 3 — 12MP autofocus camera with HDR
- Raspberry Pi Active Cooler — Essential cooling for sustained AI inference
The AI HAT+ delivers 26 trillion operations per second for real-time inference. Combined with the Camera Module 3, you can build smart cameras, robotics vision systems, and AI-powered automation — all running locally without cloud dependencies.
Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- microSD card
- A microSD card is a small removable memory card used to store files such as audio tracks. For this product, the card is where the sound files live, so its capacity and formatting can affect how many sounds you can use.
- RAM
- RAM is temporary memory used while a device is running, and its contents are lost when power is removed. A “Run in RAM” mode is useful for testing settings without permanently programming the module, but it may not support every feature.
- TOPS
- TOPS means trillions of operations per second, often used to describe AI accelerator performance. It helps compare whether a computing module is suited to lightweight image recognition or more demanding neural-network workloads.
- USB-C
- A modern reversible USB connector used for power and data connections. On this product it matters because it can connect directly to a computer as well as to a microcontroller project.
