An orange polycarbonate case base for the Raspberry Pi Model B+, Pi 2, Pi 3 Model B, and Pi 3 Model B+. The snap-together design lets you mix and match coloured lids and bases for custom combinations. This listing is for the base only — lids are available separately.

Made from durable, glossy polycarbonate, the case features slim cable openings, a bevelled MicroSD card slot for easy removal, and cutouts for the Pi Camera and Display connectors. The GPIO cable can extend out through a dedicated slot. The Pi snaps securely into the base, and the case can also be used without a lid to accommodate HATs and add-on boards.

Key Features

  • Snap-Together Design – Mix and match with separately available lids
  • Durable Polycarbonate – Glossy, impact-resistant construction
  • Full Port Access – Slim openings for all cables and connectors
  • Bevelled MicroSD Slot – Easy card insertion and removal
  • Camera & Display Cutouts – Access for Pi Camera and Display ribbon cables
  • GPIO Access – Slot for ribbon cable pass-through
  • Colour – Orange

Compatibility

  • Raspberry Pi Model B+
  • Raspberry Pi 2 Model B
  • Raspberry Pi 3 Model B / B+
  • Raspberry Pi Model A+ (fits with extra space; USB access may be limited)
Note: This is the case base only. Lid and Raspberry Pi are sold separately. Not compatible with the original Raspberry Pi Model A or B.

Jargon buster

Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.

GPIO
General-purpose input/output pins are microcontroller pins you can set in software to read signals, switch devices on and off, or connect to peripherals. The number of GPIO pins matters because it limits how many buttons, LEDs, sensors, and other parts you can wire directly to the board.
microSD card
A microSD card is a small removable memory card used to store files such as audio tracks. For this product, the card is where the sound files live, so its capacity and formatting can affect how many sounds you can use.
