Have you found yourself in a maze of twisty-turny knobs, all alike? These micro potentiometer (or rotary encoder) knobs offer a rainbow burst of color to your synth or control panel. They are made of a hard plastic, with a grippy star shape. The shape is sometimes referred to as "Davies 1900" style, but they may not be a perfect size/color match for original Davies knobs.

The micro knobs work with any shaft type (round, D-shaft or T18) because they come with a tiny lil set screw. Use a 2mm hex wrench, not included, to carefully tighten once placed.

This is the orange version, comes in a pack of four! We have many other colors available as well

Jargon buster

Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.

encoder
An encoder is a sensor that converts the rotation or position of a shaft, knob or dial into electrical signals, reporting movement as incremental steps and direction, or as an absolute position. It is used to track how far something has turned, which matters for precise positioning, speed control, repeatable movement, or using a rotary knob as an input.
potentiometer
A variable resistor usually turned with a knob or shaft to create an adjustable electrical signal. It is often used for inputs such as volume, brightness or position, so it helps beginners learn how a microcontroller reads changing values.
