A straight bar load cell (strain gauge) that translates up to 5kg of force into an electrical signal. Made from aluminium alloy with four strain gauges in a Wheatstone bridge configuration, it measures electrical resistance changes proportional to the applied load.

Use it to measure object weight, detect weight changes over time, or sense the presence of objects on a surface. Pair with an HX711 amplifier for easy integration with Arduino and other microcontrollers.

microcontroller

A strain gauge is a sensor element whose electrical resistance changes when it is stretched or compressed. It is commonly used to measure force, weight, pressure or bending, and because its resistance change is small it usually needs precise differential measurement electronics such as a high-resolution ADC.
