An inline flow sensor for measuring liquid or water flow in solar heating, computer cooling, irrigation, and other fluid projects. The sensor uses a pinwheel with a magnet and an external hall effect sensor to count rotations through the plastic wall, keeping the electronics safe and dry.
Each pulse from the sensor output corresponds to approximately 2.25 millilitres of fluid. Connect the three-wire interface to any microcontroller to start tracking flow rate and total volume in your project.
Key Features
- Hall Effect Sensing – Non-contact magnetic detection through the plastic housing keeps electronics dry
- 1/2" NPS Threaded – Standard threading for easy inline installation
- Wide Voltage Range – Operates on 5–24V DC
- Simple 3-Wire Interface – Red (power), black (ground), yellow (pulse output)
- ~2.25mL per Pulse – Count pulses to calculate flow volume
Ideal For
- Garden and irrigation monitoring
- Solar heating systems
- Computer liquid cooling loops
- Aquaponics and hydroponic setups
Package Contents
- 1× Plastic liquid flow meter (1/2" NPS threaded)
