This heatsink kit is designed for the Raspberry Pi 4B, helping to reduce thermal throttling during heavy workloads. The set includes three adhesive-backed heatsinks sized to fit the SoC, USB controller, and RAM chips on the Pi 4B.
Available in two colour options: a colourful set (1 copper + 2 aluminium heatsinks) or a silver set (3 aluminium heatsinks). Self-adhesive thermal tape is pre-applied for easy installation — simply peel and stick onto the chips.
Key Features
- Designed for Pi 4B – Sized to fit the main heat-generating components
- Passive Cooling – Reduces thermal throttling without a fan
- Self-Adhesive – Pre-applied thermal tape for easy peel-and-stick installation
- Two Options – Colourful (copper + aluminium) or silver (all aluminium)
Ideal For
- Raspberry Pi 4B thermal management
- Reducing CPU throttling under sustained load
- Complementing case-based cooling solutions
Package Contents
- 3× Heatsinks (sized for SoC, USB controller, and RAM)
Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- RAM
- RAM is temporary memory used while a device is running, and its contents are lost when power is removed. A “Run in RAM” mode is useful for testing settings without permanently programming the module, but it may not support every feature.
- thermal throttling
- Thermal throttling is when a processor automatically slows down because it is getting too hot. A case designed to reduce throttling can help a small computer maintain performance during heavier tasks.
