The Arducam Upgraded Camera Pan Tilt Platform provides a lightweight, sturdy two-axis mount for cameras commonly used with Arduino and Raspberry Pi. Two digital servos deliver smooth pan and tilt movement, while an included I²C controller board makes integration with your favourite microcontroller or SBC straightforward.

The kit includes all mounting hardware, servos, and the controller board — just add your own camera. The platform accepts most small camera modules by weight and size (the camera itself is not controlled through the I²C board).

12-bit resolution
12-bit resolution means a value is represented with 12 binary digits, giving 4096 possible levels. For a sensor, analogue-to-digital converter or similar device, higher resolution divides the measured range into finer steps so smaller changes can be distinguished, provided the device's range and noise allow it.

Torque
A twisting force that causes something to rotate, usually measured in newton-metres or kilogram-centimetres. It matters when choosing motors, servos, gears, and tools because higher torque is needed to lift heavier loads, turn larger wheels, or move mechanisms without stalling.
