The 2-in-1 TF Card Dual System Switcher lets you install two MicroSD (TF) cards on a single Raspberry Pi and switch between them using a physical toggle. This allows you to run two different operating systems and swap between them without removing or swapping cards.
The switcher can also be controlled via GPIO, enabling wireless, remote, or infrared-triggered system switching from an Arduino or other microcontroller.
Key Features
- Dual TF Card Slots – Install two MicroSD cards simultaneously
- Physical Toggle Switch – Quickly swap between operating systems
- GPIO Controllable – Connect the dial switch to Arduino or MCU for remote switching
- Compact Design – 36 × 24mm, fits neatly with the Raspberry Pi
Compatibility
- Raspberry Pi B+
- Raspberry Pi 2B
- Raspberry Pi 3B
Ideal For
- Running dual operating systems on one Raspberry Pi
- Quick switching between development and production environments
- Testing different OS configurations
Package Contents
- 1× 2-in-1 TF Card Dual System Switcher
Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- GPIO
- General-purpose input/output pins are microcontroller pins you can set in software to read signals, switch devices on and off, or connect to peripherals. The number of GPIO pins matters because it limits how many buttons, LEDs, sensors, and other parts you can wire directly to the board.
- microcontroller
- A microcontroller is a small computer on a single chip that runs a stored program and controls connected inputs and outputs such as buttons, sensors, displays and communication interfaces. In a device built around one, it is the part that executes the code and coordinates the device's behaviour.
