A breakaway strip of 36 press-fit male pin headers at standard 2.54mm (0.1") pitch. These headers can be attached to PCBs without soldering — press them firmly into place using pliers for a friction-fit connection that holds securely for prototyping and testing.
Snap or cut off the length you need from the 36-pin strip. Once pressed in, the headers can be soldered permanently later or pulled out one-by-one when no longer needed.
Key Features
- No Soldering Required – Press-fit design attaches to PCB through-holes using pliers
- 2.54mm (0.1") Pitch – Standard spacing, compatible with breadboards and standard headers
- Breakaway Strip – 36 pins, snap or cut to the length you need
- Removable or Permanent – Pull pins out later, or solder them in place for a permanent connection
Ideal For
- Quick prototyping without a soldering iron
- Temporary header connections for testing
- Adding headers to boards when soldering isn't practical
Package Contents
- 1× Breakaway press-fit male pin header strip (36 pins)
Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- Headers
- Rows of metal pins used to plug a module into a breadboard or connect it with jumper wires. Pre-soldered headers make the module easier to use straight away without needing to solder the pins yourself.
- PCB
- A printed circuit board is a rigid board with copper tracks that connect electronic parts without loose wires. For this kit, the PCBs also form the airplane shape, so they are both the circuit base and part of the finished model.
