This circular flexible potentiometer is a membrane-based position sensor for adding low-profile rotary or angular input to space-constrained electronics. Instead of using a bulky mechanical rotary switch, it detects pressure along its sensing ring and provides a linear analogue voltage signal from 0.2V to 0.8V.
The sensing layer uses graphene pressure-sensitive material in an ultra-thin 0.45mm flexible structure, helping it fit into compact controllers, smart devices, wearables and robotics assemblies. Its flexible construction can conform to curved housings, making it useful where a rigid through-hole potentiometer would be difficult to mount.
Installation is designed to be straightforward, with adhesive backing and solderable metal terminals for integration into prototypes or production hardware. One Circular Flexible Potentiometer is included.

Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- IoT
- Short for Internet of Things, meaning physical devices that connect to networks or the internet to send data or be controlled remotely. It matters if you want projects such as connected sensors, remote controls or classroom data-logging activities.
- potentiometer
- A variable resistor usually turned with a knob or shaft to create an adjustable electrical signal. It is often used for inputs such as volume, brightness or position, so it helps beginners learn how a microcontroller reads changing values.
