This fully integrated capacitive fingerprint sensor provides an efficient way for users to capture, process, store, and match fingerprints. Based on high-performance processor & semiconductor fingerprint sensor, it's equipped with built-in IDfinger6.0 fingerprint algorithm that enables it to complete fingerprint recognition independently. And when working with DFRobot Arduino library, the sensor can realize functions like fingerprint entry, deletion, and matching through UART. Also, upper computer software is provided to help users easily operate it.
This low-power sensor comes with a compact size and delicate appearance and offers fast recognition and high security. Moreover, it supports 360-degree view object recognition and deep self-learning.

Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- FPC
- FPC stands for flexible printed circuit, a thin flat flexible cable or connector style often used where space is tight or some movement is needed, commonly for displays, cameras and other high-density connections. Connecting to an FPC connector generally needs a matching cable with the correct pin count, pitch and contact orientation.
- UART
- UART is a simple asynchronous serial interface that sends data over separate transmit and receive wires, usually labelled TX and RX, with both ends set to the same baud rate. It is a common way for microcontrollers and other serial devices to exchange data.

This capacitive fingerprint sensor supports fingerprint capture, image processing, fingerprint storage, fingerprint comparison and so on. Taking ID809 high-performance processor and semiconductor fingerprint sensor as the core, the sensor adopts built-in IDfinger6.0 algorithm, which can complete all fingerprint identification work independently. The product supports UART communication. When working with Arduino library, it can easily realize functions like fingerprint registration, fingerprint deletion, etc. This fingerprint sensor comes with round breathing LEDs and has a simple structure, small size, and delicate appearance. The sensor offers fast recognition speed and high security. What’s more, it supports 360-degree arbitrary angle recognition and deep self-learning function, high performance and low power consumption.
