This gold-eye sharps needle set is perfect for hand-sewing with conductive thread and wearable electronics parts. The pack includes 20 needles in sizes #3 to #9, giving you the right needle for any e-textiles or general sewing task.
The majority of the needles (sizes #4–#8) work well with 2-ply and 3-ply stainless conductive thread as well as thin conductive yarn. The two largest #3 needles (44.5 mm / 1.75″) are easy to thread but too large for sewable coin cell holders. The four smallest #9 needles (34.3 mm / 1.35″) are best suited for standard thread due to their small eye size.

Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- conductive thread
- Thread made with metal or other conductive fibres so it can carry electricity while being sewn into fabric. It matters for wearable and textile projects because it can replace wire, but it has more resistance than normal hookup wire.
- e-textiles
- Electronic textiles are fabrics or clothing that include electrical parts such as conductive thread, sensors, LEDs, or small controllers. This matters because parts for e-textiles need to survive bending, sewing, and sometimes washing.
- Thread
- A low-power wireless mesh networking standard designed for smart home and IoT devices. It matters because Thread devices can relay messages through each other, helping build reliable networks for sensors and controllers.
