A small adapter board that solders onto the back of micro metal gearmotors, adding a male 0.1″ push header for tool-free connections. Once attached, the motor can be plugged directly into breadboards or female headers without any further soldering — ideal for workshops, classrooms, and rapid prototyping.
Each shim includes a built-in decoupling capacitor at the motor terminals to reduce electrical noise.
Key Features
- Push Header Connection – Male 0.1″ header for solderless motor hookup after initial installation
- Onboard Decoupling Capacitor – Reduces motor noise at the terminals
- Compact Shim Design – Mounts directly to the back of micro metal gearmotors
- Workshop Friendly – Makes motors easy to use for beginners and children
Ideal For
- Making micro metal gearmotors breadboard-compatible
- Education workshops and classroom activities

Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- Headers
- Rows of connector contacts on a fixed pitch (commonly 2.54 mm) used to link a board to a breadboard, jumper wires, or another board. They come as male pin headers and female socket headers; when a module ships with pre-soldered headers it can be used straight away, whereas bare pads require soldering the pins yourself.
