An industrial-grade single-line 2D pulsed Time-of-Flight (ToF) LiDAR scanner with 270° horizontal field of view and up to 25 m detection range. Compact, lightweight, and IP65-rated for both indoor and outdoor use.

Features a VCSEL laser emitter for smaller laser spot size and higher point cloud accuracy, a built-in brushless motor for quiet and durable operation, and a sampling rate of up to 36,000 points per second. Resistant to 100 kLux strong ambient light.

Key Features

  • 270° Horizontal FOV – Reliable scanning without rear blind spot issues common in 360° units
  • 25 m Range – ≥25 m at 70% reflectivity, ≥15 m at 10% reflectivity
  • ±2 cm Accuracy – High-precision distance measurement
  • 36 kHz Sampling Rate – High-quality point cloud output at 10 Hz rotation
  • 0.1° Angular Resolution – Fine detail at 10 Hz; 0.25° at 20/25/30 Hz
  • VCSEL Laser (940 nm) – Smaller spot size, less trailing, Class 1 eye-safe
  • IP65 Protection – Dust-tight and water-jet resistant
  • Built-in Web Service – Dashboard, radar settings, and OTA firmware updates via browser (http://192.168.198.2)
  • Ethernet UDP Output – 100 Mbps via RJ45; masked USB also supported

Specifications

  • Operating Voltage – 9–36 V (12 V/1 A adapter recommended)
  • Power Consumption – ≤2 W
  • Data Output – Distance, angle, echo intensity, internal time
  • Operating Temperature – −25 to 60°C
  • Storage Temperature – −40 to 75°C
  • Dimensions – 60 × 60 × 80 mm
  • Weight – 160 g
  • Power Interface – 5.5 × 2.1 mm DC jack
  • Communication Interface – RJ45 Ethernet

Ideal For

  • Robot environmental perception and mapping
  • AGV obstacle avoidance and navigation
  • Industrial automation and process monitoring
  • Perimeter security and multimedia interaction

Jargon buster

Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.

AGV
An AGV, or automated guided vehicle, is a mobile robot used to move materials without a human driver. This matters because controllers used in AGVs need reliable communication and industrial I/O for motors, sensors, and safety systems.
LiDAR
A sensing method that uses laser light to measure distance and build a 3D picture of the surroundings. It matters for robotics and autonomous systems because LiDAR data can help with mapping, navigation and obstacle detection.
OTA
OTA means over-the-air updating, where firmware is updated wirelessly instead of through a programming cable. It matters because you may be able to update or maintain the module after it is installed in a project.
RJ45
The common plug and socket style used for wired Ethernet network cables. If a board has an RJ45 connector, you can usually plug it into standard Ethernet cabling without making a custom connector.
Torque
A twisting force that causes something to rotate, usually measured in newton-metres or kilogram-centimetres. It matters when choosing motors, servos, gears, and tools because higher torque is needed to lift heavier loads, turn larger wheels, or move mechanisms without stalling.
