Kitronik MI:power Board V2 for BBC micro:bit

Add portable power and sound to your BBC micro:bit projects with this lightweight add-on PCB. It fits snugly against the micro:bit and includes a built-in buzzer plus a 3V coin cell holder, making it well suited to wearable projects, badges and handheld builds.

This V2 board has been redesigned to suit both V1 and V2 BBC micro:bit boards. When assembled, it connects directly to the 3V, GND and P0 connections; 3V and GND power the micro:bit, while the buzzer is connected to P0, the default output pin for audio functions in the Block Editor software.

An easy-access on/off switch lets you power your project without unplugging anything. Once fitted, the mechanical fixings help retain the battery so it cannot be removed without a screwdriver. The BBC micro:bit is not included.
