This LED-illuminated button module is a simple digital switch with a transparent cap and a yellow light. It works like a basic button, but the internal LED turns on while the button is pressed, giving clear visual feedback for interactive projects.

When pressed down, the module outputs High and the LED lights up. When released, the module outputs Low and the LED turns off, making it easy to use as a digital input with Arduino, micro:bit and compatible maker boards.

The module uses a PH2.0-3P Gravity-style connector, and the pack includes one Gravity: LED Button - Yellow and one Digital Sensor Connector. A product wiki is provided by DFRobot for setup guidance.

Gravity
Gravity is DFRobot’s plug-in connector system for sensors, motors and modules, using standard cables to reduce loose jumper wiring. It matters because Gravity-compatible parts can connect directly to these ports, while non-Gravity parts may need adapters or manual wiring.
LED
A light-emitting diode (LED) is a small electronic component that emits light when current flows through it in the correct direction. Because it only conducts one way, its polarity matters, and a through-hole LED must be soldered the correct way around to light up.
