A simple 433 MHz RF wireless switch set that transmits digital signals between a transmitter and receiver module. Based on Gravity interface connectors, it works with any microcontroller that can read and write digital signals — no complex AT commands or pairing protocols required.
The transmitter supports 15 button states, and the receiver offers multiple working modes including inching, latching, self-locking, and interlocking. The system supports one-to-many and many-to-one configurations with a pairing function on the receiver.
Key Features
- 433 MHz RF Communication – Strong wall penetration, no Wi-Fi or Bluetooth required
- 15 Button States – Multiple control signals from a single transmitter
- Pairing Function – Receiver supports one-to-many and many-to-one setups
- Multiple Modes – Inching, latching, self-locking, and interlocking
- Ultra-Low Standby Power – Transmitter standby current less than 10 µA at 5 V
- Working Voltage – 3.3 V to 5.0 V DC
- Indoor Range – Approximately 15 metres
Specifications
- Transmitter Current – 10 mA active, <10 µA standby (at 5 V)
- Receiver Current – 6 mA active, 3 mA standby (at 5 V)

Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- DC
- DC means direct current, where electricity flows in one constant direction, as supplied by batteries, USB ports and many plug-pack power supplies. When a product specifies DC, it runs from a DC supply rather than mains AC, so you need to provide the correct voltage and polarity.
- Gravity
- Gravity is DFRobot’s plug-in connector system for sensors, motors and modules, using standard cables to reduce loose jumper wiring. It matters because Gravity-compatible parts can connect directly to these ports, while non-Gravity parts may need adapters or manual wiring.
- microcontroller
- A microcontroller is a small computer on a single chip that runs a stored program and controls connected inputs and outputs such as buttons, sensors, displays and communication interfaces. In a device built around one, it is the part that executes the code and coordinates the device's behaviour.
- RF
- RF means radio frequency, referring to signals used for wireless communication and other high-frequency electronics. A low-noise, stable power supply is important for RF circuits because power noise can affect signal quality and measurements.
