The Adafruit Perma-Proto Quarter-Sized Breadboard PCB (3-Pack) provides three compact prototyping boards that bridge the gap between solderless breadboards and permanent soldered circuits. Each board has 15 rows of 5-hole connected pads divided into two blocks (just like a standard breadboard), plus four bus lines for two independent power supplies.
The five-pin rows in each block are electrically connected, so you can mount a 14-pin DIP IC and easily connect other components to its pins without extra wires. All connections are visible from the back side for easy verification.
Key Features (Each Board)
- 15-Row Breadboard Layout – Two blocks of 5-hole connected pads, just like a mini breadboard
- 4 Bus Lines – Supports two independent power supplies
- Through-Plated, Gold-Finished – Durable pads that resist oxidation and survive rework
- 1.2mm (47 mil) Drill Holes – Fits components with thicker leads like diodes
- No Solder Mask – Easily cut traces on the bottom side
- 2 Mounting Holes – 0.125″ holes for #4 or M3 screws, spaced 1.4″ apart
Specifications
- Board Dimensions – 1.7″ × 2.0″ (43 × 51mm)
- Thickness – 0.063″ (1.6mm)
Ideal For
- Small, compact soldered circuit builds
- DIP IC-based projects (fits 14-pin packages)
- Transferring tiny breadboard prototypes to permanent PCBs
Package Contents
- 3× Perma-Proto Quarter-Sized Breadboard PCBs
Also Consider
- Perma-Proto Half-Sized PCB – 3-Pack – 30-row version for medium projects

Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- PCB
- A printed circuit board is a rigid board with copper tracks that connect electronic parts without loose wires. For this kit, the PCBs also form the airplane shape, so they are both the circuit base and part of the finished model.
