Adafruit 1.2 8x8 LED Matrix Backpack
The Adafruit 1.2" 8x8 LED Matrix Backpack is a standalone I2C driver board for 1.2" square 8x8 LED matrices. It features the HT16K33 I2C LED driver, handling all multiplexing so you only need two pins to control a full 64-pixel matrix display.
The backpacks are end-to-end stackable, and address jumpers on the back allow up to eight backpacks to share the same I2C bus. Well-documented Arduino and CircuitPython libraries make setup straightforward.
