A 4-wire slot-type photoelectric switch with integrated optical transmitter and receiver. The 5mm detection slot can detect objects passing through, including transparent materials, making it ideal for counting, position sensing, and high-speed object detection in industrial and hobby applications.

The module operates on 10–30V DC with PNP output and provides both normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) connections simultaneously. Built-in short-circuit, overload, and reverse-connection protection ensure reliable operation. An onboard LED indicator shows detection status in real time.

Key Features

  • Integrated Optical Transceiver – Stable performance with strong anti-interference capability
  • NO and NC Outputs – 4-wire connection provides both normally open and normally closed outputs
  • 500Hz Switching Frequency – Suitable for high-speed counting and detection
  • Fast Response – Less than 1.5ms response time
  • LED Status Indicator – Real-time visual feedback of detection state
  • Built-In Protection – Short-circuit, overload, and reverse-connection protection

Specifications

  • Power Supply – DC 10–30V
  • Detection Distance – 5mm (slot width)
  • Output Mode – PNP (4-wire)
  • Switching Frequency – 500Hz
  • Response Time – <1.5ms
  • Protection Rating – IP50
  • Dimensions – 26.2 × 25 × 7mm

Wiring

  • Brown – Positive (+)
  • Blue – Negative (−)
  • Black – Normally closed (NC) output
  • White – Normally open (NO) output

Ideal For

  • Object counting and material detection
  • Transparent object detection
  • End-stop and position sensing
  • High-speed event counting

Package Contents

  • 1× 4-Wire Slot Type Photoelectric Switch

Jargon buster

Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.

LED
A light-emitting diode is a small electronic component that lights up when current flows through it in the correct direction. In this kit, LEDs create the flashing effect, so polarity and correct soldering matter for the project to work.
