Short break-away male headers in a convenient pack of ten — ideal for low-profile connections where standard-height male headers would be too tall. These headers are designed to pair with short female headers for a slim, compact fit.
Each header strip is 36 pins long with standard 0.1" (2.54mm) pitch, compatible with breadboards, perfboards, and development boards. Gold-plated contacts ensure reliable connections that resist oxidation over time.
Key Features
- Short Profile – Lower height than standard male headers for slimmer assemblies
- 36-Pin Length – Easily break apart or cut to any size needed
- 0.1" (2.54mm) Pitch – Standard spacing for broad compatibility
- Gold-Plated Contacts – Resists oxidation for dependable connections
- Break-Away Design – Snap apart by hand or cut between pins with diagonal cutters
Ideal For
- Low-profile prototyping where standard headers are too tall
- Soldering to breakout boards and development boards
- General-purpose wiring and connector needs
Package Contents
- 10× 36-pin short break-away male headers (0.1" pitch)
Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- breakout
- A breakout board carries a small or fine-pitched component and brings its connections out to standard, breadboard- and header-friendly pins. Describing a part as a breakout means it can be wired into a project without soldering directly to the component's tiny contacts.
- Headers
- Rows of connector contacts on a fixed pitch (commonly 2.54 mm) used to link a board to a breadboard, jumper wires, or another board. They come as male pin headers and female socket headers; when a module ships with pre-soldered headers it can be used straight away, whereas bare pads require soldering the pins yourself.
