A 24-pin 0.5mm pitch FPC extension cable, 25cm long, designed for mounting eInk and ePaper displays at a distance from the driver board. Use this cable when you need to position your display remotely — for example, in a case, frame, or enclosure separate from the main electronics.
Simply pry open the FPC connector on your eInk Friend, eInk Feather Friend, or similar driver board, and swap in this longer cable. A 24-pin FPC extender adapter (sold separately) is required to mate this cable with the display's ribbon cable.

Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- ePaper
- A display technology that looks more like printed paper than a glowing screen and usually keeps its image visible with very little power. It matters for projects such as labels, badges, and status screens where readability and low power use are more important than fast animation.
- FPC
- FPC stands for flexible printed circuit, a flat flexible cable or connector style often used where space is tight. It matters because this breakout needs the correct pin count and pitch FPC cable to connect reliably to the display or high-speed interface.
