A 200:1 plastic gearmotor with a 90-degree output shaft, offering a compact and affordable solution for small robot designs. The low-current brushed DC motor is well-suited for use with common motor drivers, and the recommended operating voltage range is 3–12V.
The gearbox is fully enclosed and protected by a built-in safety clutch that slips before gear teeth can shear, preventing damage during stall conditions. The output shaft is 6mm long and 7mm in diameter with two flattened sides.
Key Features
- 200:1 Gear Ratio – Higher torque, lower speed configuration
- 90° Output Shaft – Output shaft perpendicular to motor axis
- Built-in Safety Clutch – Protects gears from damage during stalls
- Pre-Assembled – Ready to use with fully enclosed gears
- Compact Size – Ideal for small robot platforms
- Two Mounting Holes – Compatible with L-bracket mounting
Specifications (at 6V)

Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- Stall torque
- The maximum twisting force a servo can produce when its output is held still and cannot move. It helps you judge whether the servo is strong enough for a robot joint, steering linkage, or other load.
- Torque
- A twisting force that causes something to rotate, usually measured in newton-metres or kilogram-centimetres. It matters when choosing motors, servos, gears, and tools because higher torque is needed to lift heavier loads, turn larger wheels, or move mechanisms without stalling.
