This 12V precision temperature controller is a compact, panel‑mount thermostat module that measures temperature using the included waterproof 10K NTC probe and switches a connected load via its built‑in 10A relay. It’s ideal when you need simple on/off control of a heater or cooler (not PID), with a clear 3‑digit LED readout for live temperature and set‑point programming.
The relay is normally open and closes when the measured temperature rises above the set point, then re‑opens 2°C below the set point (fixed hysteresis). That behaviour makes it well‑suited to over‑temperature cut‑in/venting, fan control, or basic heating control where a small deadband is acceptable and you want to avoid relay chatter.
Compatibility notes: it requires a 12V DC supply (not AC, not 5V), and the relay is a simple on/off switch rated up to 10A—appropriate for low‑voltage DC loads and many mains loads if correctly wired and safely enclosed, but it’s not designed for high inrush/inductive loads without additional protection. The included sensor is an NTC 10K (0.5%) probe; if you replace it, you’ll want the same type/value to maintain correct readings.
Practical uses include fermentation/fridge fan control, terrariums/incubators, small heated enclosures (including 3D printer enclosures), and general temperature monitoring with automatic switching. If you need tighter control (minimising overshoot) or ramp/soak profiles, a PID controller would be a better fit; if you just need straightforward threshold switching, this module is the simpler/cheaper option.

This compact 12V temperature controller features a 3-digit LED display for setting and monitoring temperature, along with a built-in 10A relay for switching heating or cooling loads. It uses an NTC thermistor probe (included) for measurement across a wide range of −50 to 110°C.
The relay operates as normally open and closes when the measured temperature rises above the set point. It re-opens once the temperature falls 2°C below the set point, providing built-in hysteresis to prevent rapid relay cycling.
