The Waveshare 10.1" Wide Colour Gamut Capacitive Touch Display delivers vibrant visuals with an NTSC 82% colour gamut IPS panel at 1280×800 resolution and 178° viewing angles. The optically bonded toughened glass touch panel (6H hardness) supports up to 10-point capacitive touch, while the aluminium alloy enclosure provides durability and a professional finish.

Connect via HDMI or full-featured USB-C for video and touch — no drivers required on most platforms. The USB-C interface also supports wired screen projection from compatible smartphones (Huawei, Samsung, OPPO, LG and others). Built-in Hi-Fi dual-track speakers deliver quality audio, and DDC/CI software brightness control is supported alongside the OSD button board.

Jargon buster

Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.

HDMI
HDMI is a common digital video and audio connection used by computers, media players, and many displays. If a display kit has HDMI input, it is usually much easier to test with a single-board computer because it can act like a normal monitor.
IoT
Short for Internet of Things, meaning physical devices that connect to networks or the internet to send data or be controlled remotely. It matters if you want projects such as connected sensors, remote controls or classroom data-logging activities.
IPS
IPS is a type of LCD panel that keeps colours and contrast more consistent when viewed from an angle. This matters for small displays that may be mounted in a dashboard, handheld project, or enclosure where the viewer is not always looking straight on.
Multi-touch
Multi-touch means the touchscreen can detect more than one finger contact at the same time. This matters for interfaces that use gestures such as pinch-to-zoom, two-finger scrolling, or on-screen controls used together.
USB-C
A modern reversible USB connector used for power and data connections. On this product it matters because it can connect directly to a computer as well as to a microcontroller project.
