Built for off-grid messaging and device-to-device data exchange, ThinkNode M2 is a compact LoRa communication device designed for use where internet or mobile coverage may be limited.
It uses an ESP32-S3 module as the main processor, supports Bluetooth setup, and comes pre-installed with Meshtastic firmware. It is compatible with the official Meshtastic App for parameter configuration, message communication, map and location sharing, network status monitoring, data recording and export, and custom settings.
A built-in OLED display shows data and device status in real time, while the rechargeable battery supports outdoor use. The modular design makes it suitable for embedded integration and custom development as well as community messaging and emergency communication projects.

- ESP32
- ESP32 is a family of low-cost microcontroller chips and modules from Espressif with built-in WiFi and Bluetooth. They support programmable firmware and over-the-air updates, and are commonly programmed with toolchains such as the Arduino core and ESP-IDF.
- LoRa
- LoRa is a long-range, low-power wireless radio technology often used for telemetry, remote sensors and other links that send small amounts of data over long distances. It is distinct from Bluetooth and WiFi, so sharing a connector or pinout with LoRa hardware does not mean a device actually uses LoRa.
- OLED
- OLED stands for organic light-emitting diode, a display type where each pixel produces its own light. It matters because OLED screens are thin, high-contrast and easy to read for small status displays, but they can be more sensitive to image burn-in than some other display types.
