This 12-position screw terminal block is a simple way to make secure wire connections on a PCB or prototyping board. Each position uses a screw clamp, making it handy for bringing external wiring into a circuit without soldering the wire directly to the board.
The 3.5mm pitch is designed to line up with standard 0.1 inch perf boards, making it useful for prototypes, small control panels, power distribution, and general electronics projects.
Specifications:
- Positions: 12-position
- Pin pitch: 3.54mm
- Rating: up to 125V @ 10A
- Wire size: 26 to 16AWG
- Perf board compatibility: 3.5mm pitch will line up with standard 0.1" perf boards
A practical connector for maker projects, test fixtures, and any build where removable screw-down wiring is preferred.
Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- PCB
- A printed circuit board (PCB) is a board, usually rigid, with etched copper tracks that connect electronic components together without loose wiring. Components are mounted on the board and signals route between them through the copper layout.
- Terminal block
- A terminal block is a connector that joins wires together in a neat, removable, or serviceable way, usually clamping each wire under a screw or spring instead of soldering. It makes it easier to connect, change, or service wiring without permanent joints.
