If you need to connect an RJ-45 cable (a.k.a Ethernet) to a board that doesn't have an Ethernet socket - this adapter will come in very handy!
This is an Ethernet (RJ-45) Terminal Block to Socket Adapter. There is a standard RJ-45 Ethernet socket on one end and a terminal block on the other.
No soldering required! Just unscrew the terminal blocks and slide in your stranded or solid-core wire.
Note that these aren't recommended for actual Ethernet traffic, especially long term... but for basic power/data distribution, RJ-45s are great!
We also carry the matching Ethernet RJ-45 Male Plug Terminal Block.

Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- Terminal block
- A terminal block is a connector that joins wires together in a neat, removable, or serviceable way, usually clamping each wire under a screw or spring instead of soldering. It makes it easier to connect, change, or service wiring without permanent joints.
