If you need to connect an RJ-45 cable (a.k.a Ethernet) to a board that doesn't have an Ethernet jack - this adapter will come in very handy! No soldering required - Just flick up the little levers and slide in your stranded or solid-core wire. Note that these aren't recommended for high speed Ethernet traffic, especially long term, for basic power/data distribution, RJ-45's are great!
This is an Ethernet (RJ-45) Female Socket to Terminal Spring Block Adapter. There is a standard RJ-45 Ethernet socket on one end and a spring terminal block on the other.
Comes as one fully assembled breakout.

Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- breakout
- A breakout is a small circuit board that makes a tiny or hard-to-solder component easier to connect to with standard pins. It matters because this OLED module can be wired into a microcontroller project without needing to solder directly to the display’s fine contacts.
- Terminal block
- A connector used to join wires together in a neat, removable, or serviceable way. For this product, it helps split one power input into several outputs without soldering.
