Restore a Maqueen V5 STEM robot after a damaged or jammed drive motor with this official replacement N20 motor accessory kit. It is intended as a repair part for an existing Maqueen V5, rather than an add-on needed when purchasing a new robot.
The motor comes with pre-soldered PCB and pin headers, so replacement is a straightforward plug-in swap with no soldering required. It is designed to match the original Maqueen V5 motor specifications for proper fit and performance.
Each kit includes 1 N20 metal motor with pre-soldered PCB and pin headers, 1 motor mounting bracket, 2 mounting screws and 1 sponge pad for battery box cushioning. If both motors on the robot are damaged, you will need two kits.
A motor replacement wiki guide is available from the manufacturer to help with the repair process.

Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- Headers
- Rows of metal pins used to plug a module into a breadboard or connect it with jumper wires. Pre-soldered headers make the module easier to use straight away without needing to solder the pins yourself.
- PCB
- A printed circuit board is a rigid board with copper tracks that connect electronic parts without loose wires. For this kit, the PCBs also form the airplane shape, so they are both the circuit base and part of the finished model.
