A replacement CSI/DSI flex connector for the Raspberry Pi. If the camera or display connector on your Pi has been damaged — snapped arms, broken latch — this part lets you rework it rather than replacing the entire board.

The same connector is used for both the Camera (CSI) and Display (DSI) ports. Remove the damaged connector with desoldering tools (Chip Quik works well), then solder this replacement in its place.

Key Details

  • Universal CSI/DSI Connector – Same part for both camera and display ports
  • Full-Size Pi Models – Fits Pi 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 (not Pi Zero series)
  • SMD Repair Part – Requires desoldering the old connector and soldering the new one
Tip: Always gently pull up on the black connector arms when opening to insert a flex ribbon cable — forcing them can break the latch.

Compatibility

  • Raspberry Pi 1 Model B/B+
  • Raspberry Pi 2
  • Raspberry Pi 3 Model B/B+
  • Raspberry Pi 4
  • Not compatible with Raspberry Pi Zero series (different connector)

Package Contents

  • 1× CSI/DSI Replacement Connector

Jargon buster

Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.

DSI
DSI stands for Display Serial Interface, a high-speed connection commonly used to send video data from a computer board to a display. It matters because DSI signals are not simple GPIO wires, so the cable, connector, and signal routing need to match the display interface.
