This conductive material, also known as Velostat or Linqstat, is a handy addition to a wearable and sensor hacking toolkit. It is pressure-sensitive, so squeezing the sheet reduces its resistance, making it useful for experimenting with flexible handmade sensors.

It can be used as a lower-cost alternative to off-the-shelf pressure or bend sensors in DIY projects. Each order includes one square sheet that can be cut, layered or incorporated into soft circuits and prototypes.

The sheet may be folded into quarters for shipping. If hard creases are present, lay it flat on a table and place a heavy book on top to help flatten it out.

Specifications:

  • Material: Conductive material also known as "Velostat" or "Linqstat"
  • Pressure response: Squeezing it will reduce the resistance
  • Included piece size: 11" x 11" (28cm x 28cm)
  • Thickness: 4mil (0.1mm)

Great for wearables, soft circuits, handmade pressure sensors, bend sensor experiments and other flexible sensing projects.
