Reviews of Power Over Ethernet HAT (F) For Raspberry Pi 5, High Power, Onboard Cooling Fan, With Metal Heatsink, Supports 802.3af/at network standard

Back to the product

My favourite way to power a Pi

Works great but two important things to note: 1) You need to lengthen the brass standoffs with a washer to securely fasten the screws without bending the PCB. 2) The fan will not operate if you don't add the following lines to the /boot/firmware/config.txt file: dtparam=cooling_fan=on # Set your four temperature thresholds and relevant fan speeds dtparam=fan_temp0=50000 dtparam=fan_temp0_hyst=4000 dtparam=fan_temp0_speed=75 dtparam=fan_temp1=60000 dtparam=fan_temp1_hyst=4000 dtparam=fan_temp1_speed=128 dtparam=fan_temp2=67500 dtparam=fan_temp2_hyst=4000 dtparam=fan_temp2_speed=254 dtparam=fan_temp3=75000 dtparam=fan_temp3_hyst=4000 dtparam=fan_temp3_speed=255
