A 1-metre flexible LED strip encased in translucent silicone rubber that produces a smooth, neon-like glow. The strip uses 96 individually addressable WS281x (NeoPixel) LEDs per metre, driven by standard NeoPixel data at 5 V. The silicone casing acts as a diffuser, eliminating visible LED hotspots for a clean, continuous light effect.

The silicone enclosure is durable and weather-resistant — suitable for cosplay, bike lighting, and festival decorations, though not rated for prolonged submersion or permanent outdoor installation. The strip can be cut to length with wire cutters.

Key Features

  • Neon-Like Diffusion – Translucent silicone casing produces smooth, even illumination
  • 96 NeoPixels per Metre – Individually addressable WS281x LEDs
  • Flexible & Slim – Bends easily for curves and contours
  • Weather-Resistant Silicone – Durable enough for outdoor and wearable projects
  • JST SM 3-Pin Input – Pre-terminated connector for power and data
  • 5 V Operation – Standard NeoPixel data protocol
Tip: Connect 5 V power and NeoPixel data to the input connector. Ensure the ground pin is shared between the 5 V power supply and your microcontroller.

Ideal For

  • Cosplay and wearable lighting
  • Bike and vehicle accent lighting
  • Festival and event decorations
  • Signage and display lighting effects

Package Contents

  • 1× Flexible Silicone NeoPixel LED Strip (1 m, 96 LEDs, sealed one end, JST SM connector on input)

Jargon buster

Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.

LED
A light-emitting diode (LED) is a small electronic component that emits light when current flows through it in the correct direction. Because it only conducts one way, its polarity matters, and a through-hole LED must be soldered the correct way around to light up.
microcontroller
A microcontroller is a small computer on a single chip that runs a stored program and controls connected inputs and outputs such as buttons, sensors, displays and communication interfaces. In a device built around one, it is the part that executes the code and coordinates the device's behaviour.
NeoPixel
A type of addressable LED system where colour data is sent along a single digital data line from one LED or controller to the next. Compatibility matters because the timing and signal format must match for the lights or driver board to respond correctly.
