EL Wire - purple

Electroluminescent (EL) wire is a thin, flexible, phosphor-coated wire that emits a bright, even glow when driven by a high-voltage AC source. This 3-metre length of purple EL wire is 3 mm in diameter, making it easy to bend, wrap, and mount for a wide range of lighting and decoration projects.

EL wire requires an inverter (sold separately) to convert DC battery power to the AC voltage needed to drive the wire. It produces a distinctive neon-like glow with very low power consumption.
