These are still attached to one another, letting you snap the LEDs apart at your leisure to sew into clothing or use in Paper Circuits.
These have large sew tabs so that you can put your conductive thread through several times to hold it firmly to your garment.

Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- conductive thread
- Thread made with metal or other conductive fibres so it can carry electricity while being sewn into fabric. It matters for wearable and textile projects because it can replace wire, but it has more resistance than normal hookup wire.
- LED
- A light-emitting diode (LED) is a small electronic component that emits light when current flows through it in the correct direction. Because it only conducts one way, its polarity matters, and a through-hole LED must be soldered the correct way around to light up.
- PCB
- A printed circuit board (PCB) is a board, usually rigid, with etched copper tracks that connect electronic components together without loose wiring. Components are mounted on the board and signals route between them through the copper layout.
