A 70 mm diameter cool white LED ring light with a built-in USB cable and on/off switch. No soldering or wiring required — plug into any 5V USB power source, flip the switch, and it lights up. The slim, compact ring is bright enough for photo/video lighting, costuming, or project illumination.

The ring can also be dimmed using a PWM power signal for variable brightness control.

Key Features

  • 70 mm Diameter – Compact ring form factor
  • Cool White LEDs – Bright, even illumination
  • USB Powered – 5V, 500 mA via included USB cable
  • On/Off Switch – Built into the cable for easy control
  • PWM Dimmable – Variable brightness with a PWM power signal
  • No Soldering Required – Ready to use out of the box
Note: These are not individually addressable (NeoPixel) LEDs. The entire ring turns on/off or dims as a single unit.

Ideal For

  • Photo and video lighting
  • Cosplay and costume effects
  • Project and workbench illumination

Jargon buster

Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.

LED
A light-emitting diode is a small electronic component that lights up when current flows through it in the correct direction. In this kit, LEDs create the flashing effect, so polarity and correct soldering matter for the project to work.
NeoPixel
A type of addressable LED system where colour data is sent along a single digital data line from one LED or controller to the next. Compatibility matters because the timing and signal format must match for the lights or driver board to respond correctly.
PWM
Pulse Width Modulation is a way for a digital pin to simulate variable output power by switching on and off very quickly. It matters for controlling things like LED brightness, motor speed, or servo-style signals from a microcontroller pin.
